Divergent film review

Divergent is a science fiction action movie directed by Neil Burger. Divergent is based on a Divergent novel written by Veronica Roth. The movie premiered in The United States on 21 0f March on 2014 and in Finland nineth of April 2014.

The main character Beatrice Prior, also known as Tris, is played by Shailene Woodley and Theo James is playing the main male lead Tobias ”Four” Eaton. Beatrice’s brother Caleb Prior is played by Ansel Egort, who was playing Shailene’s lover in The Fault in Our Stars. Jeanine Matthews who is a leader of one of the sections is played by Kate Winslet.

The movie had great actresses, you really see their chemistry. You can feel the characters feelings and you could relate to them. The main characters relationship changed in the movie very nicely. The movie really showed how Tris grow up trough the film to be a fighter.

The Divergent had a pretty nice plot, though it remained a bit of The Hunger Games on some parts, like the main characters relationship and their growing. The movie had a good musics and a soundtrack, the music always fits very well to the scenes.

The Divergent is a really good movie that makes you think if this could be the way our world is heading in the future and if it is how could we avoid it.
